Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Blitz Logistics and Dilevry ("Blitz Logistics", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Blitz Driver mobile application ("Blitz Driver" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when authorized delivery drivers use the App.

Blitz Driver is a workforce application for authorized Blitz Logistics drivers only. It is not intended for the general public or for individuals under 18 years of age.

By installing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Blitz Driver mobile app (package / bundle ID: com.blitz.driver) and to data processed through our production API at https://api.blitzlogis.com/.

This policy describes version 1 (v1) of the App. Features not yet released—such as push notifications, continuous GPS tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics—are described in the "Data we do not collect in v1" section below.

3. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to authenticate drivers, operate delivery workflows, and maintain account security.

• Account & identity: login credentials (username/email and password), driver profile information provided by your employer or our backend (name, email, national ID number, date of birth, phone number), and optional saved login details if you enable "remember me" on your device.
• Delivery & work data: assigned packages and shipment details (including delivery destination addresses as text—not live GPS coordinates), delivery status updates you submit (pickup, in transit, delivered, etc.), cash-on-delivery (COD) / collection workflow data where applicable, and dashboard statistics provided by our servers.
• Device & technical data: device identifier (Android ID on Android; identifier for vendor on iOS), device type, operating system version, app version, User-Agent string sent with API requests (format: blitz-driver/{version}), authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens), session cookies for API authentication, and IP address where logged server-side by our backend.
• On-device storage: SharedPreferences for tokens and preferences, Flutter Secure Storage for sensitive credentials, and an authenticated cookie jar for API sessions.

4. Data we do not collect in v1

To align with our Google Play Data safety declarations and current App release:

• No continuous or background GPS / precise location tracking.
• No push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging is initialized at the project level but push notifications are not active in v1).
• No advertising identifiers.
• No payment card data stored in the App. Any COD or collection amounts are handled through in-app workflows synced with Blitz Logistics systems—not by storing card numbers on the device.
• No photos or files uploaded for proof-of-delivery in v1.
• No Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar third-party analytics in v1.

5. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Authenticate drivers and maintain secure sessions.
• Display and manage assigned packages and delivery tasks.
• Record delivery status updates and sync driver actions with the Blitz Logistics backend.
• Show account information and performance dashboard statistics.
• Support app stability, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Meet operational, contractual, and legal requirements of Blitz Logistics and applicable law.

6. Legal basis

Depending on your jurisdiction, we process personal data based on one or more of the following: performance of your employment or contractor relationship with Blitz Logistics, legitimate interests in operating a secure workforce platform, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required (for example, optional saved login on device).

Your employer may have additional policies governing driver data. This Privacy Policy supplements, and does not replace, those employment or contractor terms where applicable.

7. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the App, fulfill delivery operations, and meet legal and business requirements.

We retain personal information for as long as your driver account is active and for up to 24 months after account closure or the end of your employment or contractor relationship, unless a longer period is required by law, regulatory obligation, or legitimate business needs (such as fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute resolution). Device session tokens are removed when you log out, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Server, security, and diagnostic logs are typically retained for up to 12 months.

Authentication tokens and session data on your device remain until you log out, clear app data, uninstall the App, or they expire according to our security policies.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Blitz Logistics and authorized internal teams for workforce management and delivery operations.
• Infrastructure and service providers that help us host and operate the API and App, subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
• Regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Your employer or contracting entity, where driver data is managed as part of your work relationship.

9. Third-party services (v1)

The following third-party services are relevant to Blitz Driver v1:

• Blitz Logistics API (https://api.blitzlogis.com/) — core app functionality; active.
• Firebase (Google) — project "blitzlogis" initialized for future messaging infrastructure; push notifications not active in v1.
• Google Play Services — Android app distribution; active on Android.
• Apple App Store services — iOS distribution when the iOS version is released.

10. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) to our API, secure token storage on device (Flutter Secure Storage), and access controls on our systems.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please protect your login credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to info@blitzlogis.com immediately.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and your employment or contractor relationship, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal data, or object to specific processing.

Because Blitz Driver is a workforce app, some requests may need to be coordinated through your employer or Blitz Logistics HR / operations teams.

12. Children's privacy

Blitz Driver is not directed to children under 18 and is intended for authorized adult drivers only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries where Blitz Logistics, its service providers, or its servers operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required by law.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or your employer where appropriate.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, unless otherwise required by law.
